Colorado Lifestyles Service Oriented Design/Build Process

Initial Consultation:

A Colorado Lifestyles Landscape Designer will setup a consultation to come and visit the project site and introduce Colorado Lifestyles. During the consultation meeting with the client there will be a review of the project's scope-of-work and address specific thoughts and needs of the client. This is done at no charge to the client and greatly encouraged to gain a full understanding of the project.

Base Mapping:

Collection of project information such as existing drawings, site measurements, photos, and local covenant design guidelines are collected in order to produce an accurate Existing Conditions Plan to begin the design from. This information is then inputted into our computer drafting program, allowing us to produce a accurate, to scale drawing for the project.

Design:

The client's wants and needs drive the design process with a series of Conceptual Sketches with different options in terms of layout; then more Schematic Drawings are produced to convey the design's intent, materials are specified and the final planting plan is implemented. Upon final selection and approval of overall layout and planting selections a final set of Construction Drawings is produced for Final Presentation.

Cost Estimate:

A calculation of quantities for construction materials, labor, machinery, and permits is presented as an itemized Cost Estimate at the Final Design Presentation.

Construction:

Colorado Lifestyles is able to provide a time-lined Construction Schedule with optional phasing of constructed elements working towards the project's eventual completion.
